Hotel Knox

The vision for Hotel Knox was driven by the generation of a new brand identity on an old motel site, at a prominent location in Dallas.  The structure of the old hotel is modified using the same demised volumes reapportioned to offer updated unit layouts. The new volumes sit on the street adding critical mass of additional rooms, also a restaurant, bar, lobby and second floor meeting room. These additions set across from the reimagined existing structures form a compelling elongated pool courtyard. As one passes into the lobby and motor court, views open down the length of this protected outdoor environment, giving the hotel a unique character and memorable experience.
